Natural stones infused with synthetic resin. An object study that reflects our transformed ecologies, where the nature has become a hybrid of both organic and synthetic matter. The stones are permanently changed via resin and imprints of coral skeletons from the Philippine coasts. They take on an organic form by immortalizing the patterns of past organisms. Just as the artist’s hands altered the surface patterns of these stones, so too does human activity alter and rearrange the natural world in permanent ways.
